Another day of arranging and figuring stuff out fo

Another day of arranging and figuring stuff out for our move. Confirmed a pretty good deal with a company that can move our stuff so that’s a huge check off the list. However... moving to the heart of Utrecht comes with some potential complications when it comes to the laws on unloading a truck in the historical center. It gets REALLY complicated when even the municipality can’t tell you if you need an exemption to unload your stuff from the movingtruck on the parking lot behind your new home. I need to wait for an email response that can take up to 10 business days, which is waaaaay too late to actually gét the exemption which takes another 10 business days. When I phoned the municipality for clarification the guy literally said: “I’m looking on google streetview and I can’t find a sign that says it isn’t allowed so uhm..” come ooooooon man! I need facts, not a guess based on old data from google. 🤷‍♀️ Enough for today. Time for some #cattherapy ❤️#ifeellikesuchagrownupnow

After a long day of talking to several moving companies about their offers for our upcoming move, digging through offers from energy suppliers, talking to the grid operator of our new house about the how and when of our new contract, doing an inventory of the stuff I need to get rid of, finding a good solution for the washing machine-space issue ánd handling my sales tax return like a pro...
